All Hallows Eve!

Hello everyone!
Well we finally recovered from the wedding of all weddings! What a fun time getting to see y'all. We have Picasaed (new word?) eachother and all in all I think we did a great job capturing the blessed event! I just wanted to send y'all pics of the kids dressed in their Halloween costumes...Karson wanted to be Cap'n Jack Sparrow and Kaiden wanted to be a Pink Ninja (Tough but feminine!) I hope you are all doing well... See you at Christmas!
Love,
The Salaz Crew

Kat the slave driver says I have to Blog!

Okay so I am sitting here at work with Kat and she said I have to post something to the Blog. So here it is.

Actually she is a great boss and I can't believe I get paid to hang out with her. (Was that brown nosey enough?)Of course it's better than "working" with Parker, which I have been doing on and off for a while, helping with his busy, busy marketing stuff. But at least Kat pays me!! Hint Hint, Parker.
But in all seriousness, things are coming down to the wire for the big day. We can't wait and I am amazed Kat can be so focused at work, but she is!! We can hardly wait for everyone to come. Hopefully we can find space for eveyone! We might have to put a few in the rafters, but it will be worth it. It will be a fun family time and I can't wait. The girls will look so pretty in their dresses and Gage is really excited to wear a tux!! I think they will look great, but I am kind of biased!!

Love to all

Feeling patriotic?

Hello everyone!

Well...I spoke with Parker today, he said that Joe Biden (the wannabe-vp) was not making him feel very patriotic at all...I do hope that they continue to let him talk...that will mean he will continue to gaff and step on his tongue. Too funny! Thank y'all for praying for James, he came home safe and sound. He came home with a reminder of how blessed we are. The people around the coast are really suffering. We are very excited for the wedding... we are keeping track with the count down clock. Love you all!

Evacuate!

Well folks, keep James in your prayers. He will be down at the coast starting tomorrow evacuating residents because of hurricane Ike. One of the hazards of the job. He will be down there for 7-10 days. Perhaps if things go well he will be home sooner. I hope you are all doing ok...talk to you soon. Love and Blessings, Grete

I took the liberty...

Well folks... I decided to play with the blog. I hope you like the changes, if not, well... change it to the way you like it! That way each time we log on it will be a surprise. Kaitlin sent the flower girl dress to Kaiden...she didn't want to take it off! We may have to add a new family name to our blog after the wedding! Wow... isn't change great? Oh, by the way, I hope y'all saw the speech last night given by Sarah Palin... nothing short of spactacular! This is the first time in a long time that I have been excited to vote! Too cool!!!!!!!!!! Love you all. Grete :)

Life is good!

Sun rising behind our house...

This will be the first time we have posted in a while...things have been absolutely crazy! We moved into our new home on May 28th,2008...it is no longer the 'job site'! Prior to the move in we were so stressed out we couldn't see streight. In addition to building, we were living in someone else's home (a blessing but difficult) I changed jobs and now I work at the VA hospital here in Kerrville. I am now a bona-fide federal employee. James has been busy putting people who deserve it behind bars. Karson and Kaiden are back in school at Notre Dame. Karson is in 4th grade and Kaiden in Pre-K 4. Kaiden turned 4 recently and has fully embraced 'big-girl" status. Taylor has gone home after a nice summer visit. Talk about growing up...he has really matured! We are very excited to come to Utah in October. We are looking forward the the 'tour of homes' (Park and Mary's and Kaitlin and Peter's). Of course, the best part will be the opportunityto see y'all and celebrate Peter joining our family. This year has just been bursting with blessings and for that I am very thankful. I hope you enjoy the pictures I have included.
Love and blessings to all.
Grete,James, Karson, and Kaiden

Summer stuff

Hey ya'll! I wish more people would take the time to blog for our family. We are really getting excited for everyone to come to Kat and Pete's wedding. It's going to be a full family fun fantasamogoric time!!

My kids started back to school last week. WHEW! I never thought I would be so happy for summer to be over, but I am! I love the baby monkeys, but I think they were ready too. The contstant bickering starts to get on mom's nerves!

Gail and I are still planning a cruise early next year for everyone. I am shooting for early March or the very 1st week in June. After that it gets too hot! Gail really wants to go to the Bahamas so if you have any input, now is your chance.

Here are some summer pics

Great Texas Trip!!

Thanks to all for making our spring break so much fun. I can't believe how fast the time went. I love seeing Emily and Brad and Ellie and Lindie!! You fishermen missed out. We need some pictures of the Gasper Goo. I still am not sure what that is! Emma seemed really excited to have caught one though.

By now you have received my email about next summer's vacation. Let's not let it slide people.

Oh and Em sent really cute pics of the kids. It would be great to upload them to the blog Em.

Love to you all

Mary

California Expo with Mary and Peter!

You are right Mary, we do need to blog !! This month Mary and I drove down to Anahiem with the trailor for the Natural Food Expo West. We had a lot of fun... I was sick on the way down, and Mary was sick on the way home (sorry Mary!). Mary went with our sales guy to Disneyland on the down day and I recovered. We also got to see the Broadway Musical : Wicked, that was the highlight of the trip. Here is a picture of Mary on the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood:
Peter came down on Friday afternoon and sold at the show. He also made it to wicked with us! The trip was really successful!

Come on people, Blog already

Okay so I sent out an email with some pics of all the snow around our house, but that was on my brother's laptop and now i can't put them on the blog right now, but needless to say we are up to our ears in snow.

Next Wednesday, Parker and I are going to Mexico for 5 glorious days of sun and sand and my favorite! Ocean full of beautiful fish. So when we get back, i will blog all about our trip and hopefully have pictures and what not.

Grete, I need more house pics of all the progress!!!
